Michael Fortson is the Adult minister at Canyon Creek.  He and his wife Dorris began serving here in August 2006.  Michael is a graduate of Abilene Christian University, has served as a missionary in Tanzania, East Africa, a pulpit minister in Lufkin, Texas, and a Campus Minister in Nacogdoches Texas.  The Fortson's have four children and seven grandchildren. 

Addison Weaver is our part-time Youth Minister at Canyon Creek Church.  He and his wife Vicky began their work with our teenagers January 3, 2010.  Both Addison and Vicky are graduates of Harding University.  They both grew up in San Antonio, but now reside in Hewitt, between Waco and Temple.  Vicky is pursuing a law degree at Baylor Law School.
