There are Visitor Cards located in the card holders on the backs of the pews. Please fill one out for us and place it in the collection plate when it is passed. Again, we thank you
for visiting with us today.
We have an Attended Nursery in the Education Building for babies up to 2½ years old;
or, if you’d like to stay with your child, an Unattended Nursery at the back of the
auditorium next to the Foyer.
We have Children’s Church for children ages 2½ through 5 years in the Children’s Church Room in the Education Building. A slide will be flashed on the screen when it’s time for the children to be dismissed for that program. Toward the end of our service, the children’s teachers will bring the children back to you for the closing songs.

Thanks to all of you who have contributed to Jim Huddleston’s medical mission trip to Guatemala. So far our contribution for that effort is $1,072.00! We will leave the contribution open for another week so that anyone who would like to help and has not been able to can still contribute. Just give your check or cash to Cathy or one of the elders.
A big thanks to the Greenes and the Fortsons for opening up their homes for Super Bowl parties last Sunday. We’re sure the youth had a good time at theirs; we know the adults who came to the Fortson’s had a great time, and some were even happy with the outcome! Thanks again for your generous hospitality.
We also want to thank Audell Shelburne and his helpers for the delicious dinner he “cooked up” for us last night at our annual Valentine Dinner here at the building. We had a great time, and the food was wonderful! Thanks, Audell for heading this up and to all your helpers who cooked, decorated and helped clean up.
We have only next Sunday left to retake any pictures for our picture directory. Zoe is out of town today but should be back next Sunday for a final picture-taking “session.” If you haven’t talked to her about getting a new picture made, she will have her camera next week, so come prepared, and she’ll take care of it.
Our new “Slim for HIM” weight loss and management program began last Wednesday afternoon at 4 pm with a good turnout. Mary Nelson and Dorris Fortson are the leaders of this new group, so if you have questions, please talk to them. Mary started yesterday a second meeting time for any who can’t make it during the week – 1 pm on Saturdays. Be sure to come and give it a try. From now on we will list it in our “Calendar for the Week” section of the bulletin.
Opportunity for Ministry: We have a need here within our congregation to assist with occasionally providing rides to those needing transportation to church. If there are any of our members who would be willing to volunteer, please inform one of the elders of your interest in helping with this ministry.
Remember to bring your Box Tops for Education labels and put them in the little bins that are on the back table and the table outside the Fellowship Room.
