There are Visitor Cards located in the card holders on the backs of the pews. Please fill one out for us and place it in the collection plate when it is passed. Again, we thank youfor visiting with us today.

We have an Attended Nursery in the Education Building for babies up to 2½ years old;
or, if you’d like to stay with your child, an Unattended Nursery at the back of the auditorium next to the Foyer.

We have Children’s Church for children ages 2½ through 5 years in the  Children’s Church Room in the Education Building. A slide will be flashed on the screen when it’s time for the children to be dismissed for that program. Toward the end of our service, the children’s teachers will bring the children back to you for the closing songs.

Today we will be taking up a special offering for Jim Huddleston who is going on a medical mission trip to Guatemala with a group from ACU over spring break to help people who have very little access to health care. Please give as you can toward this effort today.

Our first MOPS meeting of this new year is tomorrow at 9:30 am here in our Fellowship Building. Dorris Fortson will be the speaker and Jamie Huddleston has some great recipes she’s planning to share with the group! If you know anyone who has preschoolers, please let them know about this great group; Theresa Shelburne is our MOPS leader.

Youth Group: We'll be meeting at the Greene's home for the Super Bowl next Sunday, February 7th at 5:00pm. If anyone needs a ride, talk to Addison. Be sure to bring your friends!

The Fortsons have invited all of our Life Groups to a Super Bowl Party next Sunday at their home beginning at 4:30 pm with a devo. If your Life Group would like to join with theirs for that evening, just let them know and bring your favorite “football-watching” snacks. As far as we know right now, we will have childcare at the building that evening just as we usually do.

On Saturday evening, February 13, at 6:00 pm we will have our annual Valentine Dinner here at the building. Audell Shelburne is our great “head chef” who has led out in this for the past several years, so be sure to come and enjoy the meal and fellowship!! One of the “requirements” for all the years we have had this meal has been that the other men of the church come to help during that day to cook or decorate, etc. It’s always a fun night, and it’s not restricted to “couples.” All of our members are welcome to come. There will be a charge for the meal based on the cost of the food, more details about that later.  Please sign the sheet on the back table so we can make our plans. Usually individual families make their own arrangements for babysitting for that evening.

Opportunity for Ministry: We have a need here within our congregation to assist with occasionally providing rides to those needing transportation to church. If there are any of our members who would be willing to volunteer, please inform one of the elders of your interest in helping with this ministry.

 It’s been two years since we first started taking pictures for our Picture Directory, so if you would like to have a new picture taken, please talk to Cathy or Zoe. Zoe has her camera today if anyone is ready! We will ask that all who might want their picture re-taken, please make arrangements to have that done no later than February 21. That gives us three weeks to get the pictures taken, and then Cathy can work on putting the new pages together. Remember, if you want your picture re-taken, please talk to Zoe!

Remember to bring your Box Tops for Education labels and put them in the little bins that are on the back table and the table outside the Fellowship Room.
