There are Visitor Cards located in the card holders on the backs of the pews. Please fill one out for us and place it in the collection plate when it is passed. Again, we thank you
for visiting with us today.

We have an Attended Nursery in the Education Building for babies up to 2½ years old;
or, if you’d like to stay with your child, an Unattended Nursery at the back of the
auditorium next to the Foyer.

We have Children’s Church for children ages 2½ through 5 years in the Children’s Church Room in the Education Building. A slide will be flashed on the screen when it’s time for the children to be dismissed for that program. Toward the end of our service, the children’s teachers will bring the children back to you for the closing songs.

A big thank you is extended to everyone who came and participated in the Christmas Ornament Shower for Chris and Candy Kneip last night. We want to thank the Rascoes for hosting the event and all the other hostesses for making it such a wonderful evening. Thanks again to all of you for sharing in their marriage in this special way.

 Let’s all remember to bring Shampoo, Conditioner and Pop Tarts for the Arms of Hope Children’s Homes and any non-perishable food items for our own Food Pantry through the end of this year. The Arms of Hope truck will be here to pick up any items we’ve collected for them this week. Of course, we will continue to collect items for our Food Pantry as we have need after the first of the year.

Please put your items at the front of the auditorium so that they can serve as a reminder to us to thank God always for our blessings and to share with others what he has given us!

Remember to bring your Box Tops for Education labels and put them in the little bins that are on the back table and the table outside the Fellowship Room.

 On Sunday, January 10, we will need to have our annual Corporate Meeting required by the state of Texas. It will take just about five minutes at the end of our service. Bill Vaughan will be conducting the meeting.

Our elder chairman for the month of January is Kevin Huddleston. Please get in touch with Kevin if you have any questions or would like to meet with the elders. His e-mail address is: kphuddleston@swmail.sw.org

Opportunity for Ministry: We have a need here within our congregation to assist with occasionally providing rides to those needing transportation to church. If there are any of our members who would be willing to volunteer, please inform one of the elders of your interest. Hopefully, we will have several who volunteer, and then the ministry could be arranged on a rotating basis, similar to our communion preparation rotation, etc.
