There are Visitor Cards located in the card holders on the backs of the pews. Please fill one out for us and place it in the collection plate when it is passed. Again, we thank you
for visiting with us today.
We have an Attended Nursery in the Education Building for babies up to 2½ years old;
or, if you’d like to stay with your child, an Unattended Nursery at the back of the
auditorium next to the Foyer.
We have Children’s Church for children ages 2½ through 5 years in the Children’s Church Room in the Education Building. A slide will be flashed on the screen when it’s time for the children to be dismissed for that program. Toward the end of our service, the children’s teachers will bring the children back to you for the closing songs.

We are so excited to announce that Janice Crowell has placed her membership with us. We now have her picture
directory sheet for you which includes all of her contact information.
Our MOPS meeting last Monday was a big success. Each of the three children’s classes had between 4 and 5
children, and the mothers enjoyed learning and cooking some new recipes with Jamie. Our next meeting will be
December 7, so be sure to tell any of your friends who are mothers of preschoolers to plan to come. They
may call Dorris or Theresa for more information. We want to thank Connie Matthews, Laura Young, Joan Horning,
and Janice Crowell for volunteering their time to help us, and to Richard Van Gorder for being our official Nursery babysitter.
Congratulations are in order for Emily Matthews, daughter of Keller and Connie, upon her engagement to Matt Iazzetti
last Tuesday night! The wedding is scheduled for April 17.
Today, immediately after our morning service, we will have a Covered-dish Luncheon and interview time with
Addison and Vicky Weaver, one of our candidates for our part-time youth minister position. We invite everyone
to stay, but especially the teens and parents of our children and teens.
NOTE FOR TEENS: As a continuation of the interview session with Addison and Vicky, there has been planned
here at the building this afternoon from 3:30 to 5:00 for our junior high and high school teens a game time (bring your
favorite board games). At 5 pm there will be a devo led by Addison and Vicky followed by pizza! Parents, you may
pick up your teens around 6:15 to 6:30.
The time for ourTEXAS SEND-OFF SHOWER for Jason and Paula Hicks is just a week away. It will be
at 6 pm next Saturday, November 14, at the Matthews home, 3005 Stratford Drive in Temple. Please plan to come
and join us for this time of celebration and “well-wishing”. They are registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
