There are Visitor Cards located in the card holders on the backs of the pews. Please fill one out for us and place it in the collection plate when it is passed. Again, we thank you for visiting with us today.

We have an Attended Nursery in the Education Building for babies up  to 2½ years old;
or, if you’d like to stay with your child, an Unattended Nursery at the back of the
auditorium next to the Foyer.

We have Children’s Church for children ages 2½ through 5 years in the Children’s Church Room in the Education Building. A slide will be flashed on the screen when it’s time for the children to be dismissed for that program. Toward the end of our service, the children’s teachers will bring the children back to you for the closing songs.

The Kneip’s group will not meet tonight.
The Fortson’s group will meet – 5 pm – Fortson’s home
TheRascoe’s/Garmon’s group will meet – 5 pm – Fellowship Room

Tomorrow morning our MOPS group will meet for the first time this fall. Please come
 if you have preschoolers and be sure to let your friends know about MOPS and invite them
to come with you. Theresa Shelburne is the new director of MOPS for us here at Canyon
Creek, and we are so excited that she’s taken on the leadership of this program. Dorris and
Sunny, of course, will be helping her as well as several others who will be “Mentor Moms.”
Let’s keep this program, and especially Theresa, in our prayers as we begin this outreach
effort to mothers of young children.

This coming Wednesday for our Fellowship Meal, instead of bringing sandwiches, let’s all
bring a pot of soup to share.  We just had Subway sandwiches a week and a half ago, and
maybe having soup will make us feel like fall is here!
