Welcome to Our Guests
We extend a warm welcome to our guests today at Canyon Creek. We are honored by your presence, and it is our hope that you will be blessed this morning. We ask that you fill out a visitor’s card located in the card holders on the backs of the pews and place it in the collection plate. Again, thank you for worshipping with us today.
Information for our Visitors: We have an Attended Nursery in the Education Building for babies up to 2½ years old; or, if you’d like to stay with your child, an Unattended Nursery at the back of the auditorium next to the Foyer.
We have Children’s Church for children ages 2½ through 5 years in the Children’s Church Room in the Education Building. A slide will be flashed on the screen when it’s time for the children to be dismissed for that program. Toward the end of our service after the announcements, the children’s teachers will bring them back to you for the closing songs.

We congratulate Hannah Huddleston and Scott Key on their marriage Saturday night, May 23. God blessed them with wonderful weather for the outdoor wedding, even though it was a little questionable earlier in the day! We thank God for blessing them and their families and pray that God will continue to guide them and bless them as they strive to live their lives for Him.
We had a great celebration last Sunday night honoring Hannah Beth Davis at our Graduate Sunday Cookout. We thank the Matthews so much for hosting this event and know everyone had a good time. Thanks also to those of you who brought side dishes.
From all reports, it sounds like the Divorce Care Group and some of our singles had a great time at the Fortsons on Memorial Day. They had a potluck and played games and just in general had a good time celebrating that holiday.
Thanks to all who brought salads Wednesday night for our Salad Night. We had lots from which to choose and really enjoyed “sampling” everyone’s contributions to the meal. They were all delicious; thanks again!

If anyone would like a new copy of what we call our “Paper Directory”, a much thinner listing of the families’ information with no pictures, please sign the sheet on the back table. A sample of the “Paper Directory” is beside the sign-up sheet. Cathy will print them as soon as she gets the new information from Micah Nelson, our newest member.

Camp of the Hills Needs: If you have found around your house any of the items we’ve listed as Camp of the Hills needs, please bring them to the church and put them in the bin in the Fellowship Building Entryway.
Camp is now just about a month and a half away (July 13-18)! Please start thinking about the things that you might be able to contribute to help our week at camp go smoothly – and help the church’s budget as well! If each family bought a couple of the items, we would probably have quite a bit to take with us, OR, if you’d like to contribute some money toward the cost of these items, we can shop for you. Either way is fine with us! A list with both sets of items needed is on the back table.
Please also be thinking about whether you would be able to come down to the camp for a day and help us cook or wash pots! Several people here at church have done that in the past and can vouch for the fact that it’s a great service to the camp and to our “cookers” who go down and spend the week there cooking. If you can’t go to cook, we have other options! (1) Cook ground meat and/or sausage ahead of time (we provide the meat), (2) Bake some cookies for us to use as one meal’s dessert, and (3) buy some of the items we will need to prepare our meals, such as boxes of jello, cream soups, boxes of cereal, etc. In about two weeks, we’ll have sign-up sheets out for you to indicate if you can help with any of those tasks and also a more exact list of things we need for the meals.

Please remember to bring your food contributions for our Food Pantry here at our building! There is a white bin just outside the old cry room in which to put your items for the pantry. See Kerri Hensley for more information.

Please keep Maynor Cooper (and Ruth) in your prayers. Maynor suffered a heart attack a week ago. The doctors put in two stents, and now he is doing better and actually came home from the hospital last Wednesday.
Encourage One Another in Love
Note cards are available on the buffet in the foyer for anyone wanting to send a word of encouragement. You may mail them yourself or place them in the box provided, and the church will address and mail them for you.
