Welcome to Our Guests
We extend a warm welcome to our guests today at Canyon Creek. We are honored by your presence, and it is our hope that you will be blessed this morning. We ask that you fill out a visitor’s card located in the card holders on the backs of the pews and place it in the collection plate. Again, thank you for worshipping with us today.

Information for our Visitors: We have an Attended Nursery in the Education Building for babies up to 2½ years old; or, if you’d like to stay with your child, an Unattended Nursery at the back of the auditorium next to the Foyer.

We have Children’s Church for children ages 2½ through 5 years in the Children’s Church Room in the Education Building. A slide will be flashed on the screen when it’s time for the children to be dismissed for that program. Toward the end of our service, the children’s teachers will bring them back to you for the closing songs.

A note from our Senior Members: “We would like to say a special thank you to the Massey family for the lovely luncheon they prepared for us. They brightened our day and warmed our hearts with their beautiful and enthusiastic singing. We ask God to bless them as they have blessed us. Masseys, we love       and appreciate you.”

Beginning this Wednesday night, there will be no meal served at the building! Instead, we will be meeting at 6:00 to go together to Salado for the Salado Church of Christ’s Summer Preaching Series which will be every Wednesday night through the summer at 6:30 pm at their building. We will go together in the van and two bigger cars (if they’re needed). No one should have to drive his own car.  The schedule for these talks and the speakers involved is posted on the bulletin board. We also might stop for ice cream together afterward so that we can fellowship with each other and have an abbreviated family sharing time. Remember, we must be here by 6 pm to be able to drive together to Salado.

CHRISTIAN CONCERT: The church has received a call from the Round Rock Express about a Christian concert that will take place in the parking lot at Dell Diamond on June 28 at 5:30. If anyone is interested in attending the concert, half-price tickets to the game that follows at 7:05 are available. If you’re interested, sign the sign-up sheet on the table so Cathy can order the tickets by June 15. The half-price ticket prices would be $6.00, $3.50 or $3.00. Let’s all go together and have a fun evening!

Our week at Camp of the Hills is now just about a month and a week away (July 13-18)!   Now, we need you to be thinking about whether you would be able to come down to the camp for a day and help us cook or wash pots! Several people here at church have done that in the past and can vouch for the fact that it’s a great help to the camp and to our “cookers” who spend the week there cooking. If you can’t go to cook, we have other options! (1) Cook ground meat and/or sausage ahead of time (we provide the meat), (2) bake some cookies for us to use as one meal’s dessert, and (3) buy some of the items we will need to prepare our meals, such as boxes of jello, cream soups, boxes of cereal, etc.  In about two weeks, we’ll have sign-up sheets out for you to indicate if you can help with any of those tasks and also a more exact list of things we need for the meals.

4. Thursday Serve: 9 am at the building – bring work gloves, sunscreen, gardening tools (if you have them) and water. We're volunteering at the CAC weeding their flower beds.

Jonathan Cobb or Jeff Thomas will teach next Sunday the 14th, as the Hartnagles will be out of town. The Sunday morning class will begin studying the book of Hosea on June 21st.

NOTE: Our High School Group will be going to Sabbath Camp at the end of July to minister and witness to street kids. One thing they have been asked to bring with them is socks for these homeless kids. Regular white sox, crew length or longer (adult men’s size M or L), is what has been specified.   This is one more thing we’re asking you to help with, but if there’s any way you could pick up a package of socks for these kids, we would greatly appreciate it!  If you’d rather contribute money (so it can be a taxable donation), we will buy them for you; just mark your check or cash “socks for Sabbath camp.” The group will also be collecting your “pocket change” in jars placed on the tables marked for Sabbath; please try to remember to put your change in these jars when you pass by.
