Welcome to Our Guests
We extend a warm welcome to our guests today at Canyon Creek. We are honored by your presence, and it is our hope that you will be blessed this morning. At the beginning of the service, visitor cards will be distributed by our children. We ask that you fill out the card and place it in the collection plate. Again, we thank you for worshipping with us today.
Tonight, we will have one more meeting from 5:30–7:00 pm for discussion about the videos we have viewed on instrumental music. The elders will address any questions you might have as well. This is a very important time in our church life, so please come. Childcare will be provided. Please remember to bring sack suppers for your children.
Thanks to those of you who signed up to take food to Sherrie and Barry during this month and the first of November. All the slots are filled for now, so thanks again!

A Look Ahead
First Annual Canyon Creek Fish Fry: A Project of the Men's Fishing Ministry – Sunday, November 2 at 4:00 pm at the home of Wilson and Sandy Dunn on
FM 2484 out of Salado – Bring lawn chairs and an appetite! Maps will be available soon.
Kristen Hicks is working with a non-profit organization in Austin that is raising money for children’s schools in Ecuador by having a soccer tournament at Zilker Park on November 1. They need people to help on the day of the tournament as well as teams to play in the tournament. Jason Hicks is trying to get a team together, so if you are interested in helping, see Mark or Debra Hicks (or Jason Hicks if you’re interested in playing).
The MOPS group and our Youth Group are planning a combined Garage Sale on Saturday, November 8!! We don’t have any place to keep things right now at church, but if you can wait just one more week, we can start putting items in the Children’s Church Room after church next Sunday!
Dorothy West has moved into a new apartment. Her address is 2816 Country Lane Drive, Apt. 2116, Temple, 76504. Her phone number remains the same.

Encourage One Another in Love
Note cards are available on the buffet in the foyer for anyone wanting to send a word of encouragement. You may mail them yourself or place them in the box provided, and the church will address and mail them.
